BMX RIM FEDERAL STANCE PRO BLACK:
The Federal Stance XL rim has a wider (40mm) cross section. The triple box section combined with the wider profile makes the rim both stronger and stiffer.
Federal changed the material from Aluminium 6061 to 6066 which increases the strength by approximately 30%.

BMX RIM FEDERAL STANCE PRO BLACK:
The Federal Stance XL rim has a wider (40mm) cross section which is designed to be in keeping with modern tyre sizes which helps the tyre maintain its correct profile. The triple box section combined with the wider profile makes the rim both stronger and stiffer than conventional rims and also helps to reduce the possibility of pinch flats. The wall thickness where the spokes are located has been increased by 22% to reduce the possibility of spokes pulling through the rim.
We have upgraded the Stance XL rim to include brass eyelets, the benefit of this is that it creates a larger surface area for the nipple to sit in which reduces the chance of the spoke pulling through the rim. The eyelets also allow the nipple to rotate making it easier to build up the wheel, as well as allowing the spokes to be tighter. As you can see from the catalogue these rims have an individual look combined with a new sticker to further distinguish them from the regular Stance XL rims. The Stance XL rim will continue to be available separately or assembled on the Stance wheelsets. Available in Black only, supplied with rim tape.
We have also changed the material from Aluminium 6061 to 6066 which increases the strength by approximately 30%. The rims have a lower sidewall height (15mm compared to 20mm on most other rims) to give the rim a lower/wider appearance.The internal sidewall height is also reduced to keep the tyre firmly in place when inflated and the base of the rim is sunken to ease the installation and removal of tyres.
