The BMX stem bolts are used to tighten the bar on the stem but also to fix the stem on the fork pivot. There are solid bolts (cromo) and hollow bolts (Aluminum) with each of the advantages of solidity or style.
On a stem, there are 6 bolts which are tightened with a 6mm allen key.
